Panel Discussion:

China’s Health & Aged Care Agenda and Opportunities for Australian Business

China’s healthcare sector is the third largest in the world and is expected to grow double digits, exceeding China’s GDP growths. The Chinese Government predicts the market value of the health service industry will be RMB 10 trillion (A$2 trillion) by the end of 2020, a dramatic increase from $590 billion today.

China’s rapidly-growing aging population, health care needs of China’s emerging middle-class and the country’s inadequate health care system present enormous challenges for the Chinese government and equally enormous opportunities for Australia.
